AI-assisted writing

Some new work published on Literary Endeavours from 2026 onward is produced with AI assistance as part of the drafting process. Every piece that's published is selected, edited, and approved by the site's author — nothing is posted automatically or without human review. The site does not claim that AI-assisted pieces are entirely hand-written, and it does not claim the reverse either: the intent is simply to be straightforward about how the work gets made, without turning every post into a disclaimer.

This applies to new work going forward. The 2007–2008 archive predates this entirely and was not produced with AI assistance.

How the early archive (2007–2008) is handled

  • Original pieces are preserved as they were originally published.
  • Where a piece has been revised — for clarity, spelling, or spacing — that is noted on the piece itself, alongside its original publication date.
  • Nothing in the early archive is rewritten into a different voice or silently "modernized." Revision means light cleanup, not rewriting.
  • Some early pieces are grouped into curated collections (for example, short fragments grouped together) with an introduction explaining why they're presented that way. Grouping a piece into a collection doesn't change its original publication date.

What this site doesn't do

  • No fake reader reviews, ratings, or testimonials.
  • No invented awards, publications, or credentials.
  • No claim that a piece is "trending," "viral," or otherwise socially validated when it isn't.
  • No undisclosed rewriting of the historical record — corrections and revisions are visible, not hidden.

Corrections

If a factual error, broken link, or other mistake is found (on this page or anywhere on the site), it gets corrected transparently rather than quietly edited away. See the Contact page to flag one.
