Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 10, 2026.

This policy describes what actually happens on this site today — not a generic template. It will be updated as things change (for example, if/when AdSense approval and full ad serving begin).

Hosting

Literary Endeavours is hosted on Google's Blogger (Blogspot) platform. Google's own privacy policy governs the underlying hosting infrastructure: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Cookies

  • Blogger sets its own standard cookies to operate the site (e.g. for basic function and, if enabled, comment sign-in).
  • This site currently shows Blogger's built-in cookie notice to visitors, in line with Blogger's standard EU cookie-consent guidance.
  • A full, Google-certified consent management platform (CMP) is not yet configured. That's planned as part of preparing for AdSense approval, not before.

Advertising

This site has an AdSense account linked at the platform level (Blogger automatically includes Google's AdSense script on every page once a blog has a linked account — this is Blogger's own default behavior, not a per-page ad placement). Concretely, today:

  • The AdSense SDK script loads on every page.
  • For EEA visitors, it's configured with requestNonPersonalizedAds as the default.
  • No approved ad units are currently displayed. This blog's AdSense application has not yet been approved, so visitors do not see live ads regardless of the script loading.

Once/if AdSense approval is granted and ads go live, this section will be rewritten to describe actual ad personalization, the consent flow, and how to opt out — see plan Section 21.3 for what that update needs to include (Google's Privacy & messaging tools, EEA consent messaging, ads.txt).

Analytics

No Google Analytics (GA4) or other third-party analytics tool is used on this site. Blogger's own built-in, non-third-party visit statistics may be visible to the site owner in the Blogger dashboard — that's the only visit-tracking in place.

Comments

Comments are handled through Blogger's built-in comment system, which may require a Google account to post. Comment content is visible publicly once posted. See Google's privacy policy for how Google itself handles comment-related account data.

Contact form / messages

This site uses Blogger's built-in contact form. Messages sent through it are relayed by Google/Blogger directly to the site owner and are not separately stored or processed by this site.

Server and diagnostic data

Like any website, standard server-side request data (e.g. IP address, browser type, request timestamps) is logged by Google's infrastructure as part of normal hosting operation. This site's author does not separately collect or store this data.

Your choices

  • You can decline non-essential cookies via the cookie notice shown on the site.
  • You can use browser settings to block cookies generally.
  • You can choose not to sign in when commenting, where Blogger allows anonymous or name/URL comments.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

This policy will be updated whenever what the site actually does changes materially (for example: AdSense approval, adding analytics, changing the contact method). The "Last updated" date at the top will change accordingly.
